Frequently asked questions

Who are the services for?

My services are designed for students and young professionals, especially those interested in studying abroad, applying for scholarships, and starting their careers in the UK or globally. Whether you're writing a personal statement, preparing for a job interview, or unsure where to begin, I’m here to guide you step by step.

What if I don’t have anything prepared yet? Can I still book a session?

While you may need to finish your first draft of a personal statement for the proofreading session, you don’t need a finished draft or plan to book a consultation call. Many students come to me with just an idea, some confusion, or lots of questions—and that’s totally fine. My job is to help you turn that into a clear action plan or first draft. Wherever you are in your journey, I’ll meet you there.

How are the sessions conducted?

All sessions are conducted via Zoom and they last 50 minutes. Once you book a session, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to join the video call and a short form to tell me more about your goals or documents you'd like to discuss.

Are your toolkits beginner-friendly?

Definitely. All my toolkits and templates are designed for first-time applicants and students. You’ll find step-by-step instructions, examples, and fill-in-the-blank templates to guide you through everything from CV writing to career planning. You don’t need to be an expert to start—you just need to be willing to learn and take action.

What’s the difference between a proofreading session and a consultation call?

A proofreading session focuses specifically on your writing—personal statements, scholarship essays, motivation letters, etc. We’ll go through your draft together, and I’ll help you improve your structure, clarity, and message.

A consultation call, on the other hand, is broader. You can use it for study abroad planning, CV or cover letter feedback, interview preparation, job hunting advice, or goal setting. It’s flexible and tailored to your needs.
